Were the censors at NBC’s Standards & Practices department victims of last week’s massive layoffs at NBC Universal or were they just asleep at the wheel? After writers at 30 Rock discovered a loophole in the NBC rule book that enabled them to say the phrase “Cat Anus†five times during last week’s episode, the Lonely Island guys debuted a new digital short during Saturday night’s SNL that made Tina Fey’s giddy lark seem positively tame by comparison. In a star-studded effort that saw cameos from Justin Timberlake, Molly Sims, and the suddenly ubiquitous Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Andy Samberg and Jorma Taccone were somehow able to utter the phrase “Jizzed in My Pants†nineteen times (!!!) during a two-and-a-half-minute sketch that aired at approximately 12:43 a.m. on Saturday night. In fact, it was likely the late-night airing that allowed Lorne Michaels and crew to get away with the utterance of this taboo phrase, as the digital embed that SNL provides carries this warning with it: “The following material originally aired at 12:40am and may not be suitable for younger viewers.†Too bad Charles Rocket — who was famously canned for dropping the F-bomb during a “Weekend Update†segment in 1981 — didn’t live long enough to see this moment.
