Tom Cruise Possibly Being Sued by Rice-a-Roni Jingle Writer Over Hitler Globe

Yes, yes, you can get away with anything.

Tom Cruise just can’t catch a break! First he makes a snappy, exciting Hitler-assassination-bungling action movie (which is actually very good!) and gets pilloried by biased critics simply because he’s Tom Cruise — and now he’s being criticized in the press by the guy who wrote the Rice-a-Roni jingle over Nazi memorabilia.

Robert Pritikin, the composer behind such enduring jams as “The San Francisco Treat,†is upset with Cruise over a replica of a Hitler-owned globe that’s used as a prop in Valkyrie, the New York Post inexplicably reports. Pritikin, who’s considering a baseless lawsuit, paid $100,000 for Hitler’s original globe — with which the Führer plotted U-boat attacks — and he’s purportedly “had its likeness copyrighted to keep it from being used in propaganda by sick neo-Nazi groups.†“Tom Cruise’s use of the globe’s likeness without our client’s permission was likely just an oversight,†says an investigator hired by Pritikin. “We’re confident this will all be quickly resolved out of court.†As are we!
