MPAA Puts Some Pants on Apatow’s Year One

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Judd Apatow’s upcoming biblical comedy Year One has had its rating changed from R to PG-13, but only after Apatow and director Harold Ramis argued before the MPAA’s Classification and Rating Appeals Board on Tuesday, and then agreed to make additional cuts to the film. We wonder what could possibly have been so objectionable about an Apatow movie taking place a thousand years before the F-word was invented, in which its two main characters walk around in poorly fitting loincloths the whole time. Oh, right. [HR]
