Just when it looked like Michael Jackson would have to part with his diamond-encrusted socks, wax statues of himself, and the incredible painting seen above, a deal has been struck between Jackson and Julien’s Auctions that will return the hilarious contents of the Neverland Ranch to the King of Pop. These amazing items had been scheduled for auction next week — and are currently on public display in Beverly Hills until the 25th, if you’re around — but Jackson sued last month, claiming he’d not been given a chance to review the things in advance. Now, in a joint statement, both sides claim they’re “pleased,†presumably because Jackson handed over a bunch of his new comeback money. If he changes his mind about selling this painting, though, we’ve got dibs.
