Well, the chances of this story becoming less awful anytime soon are probably pretty slim. In a new interview with Good Morning America, Michael Jackson’s father Lord Voldemort Joe says he thinks the King of Pop’s death could have been a homicide: “I do believe it was foul play.†And this apparently isn’t just crazy talk — CNN reports today that, pending toxicology reports, the investigation into MJ’s death could turn into a criminal probe: “Based on those, we will have an idea of what it is we are dealing [with]: Are we dealing with a homicide or are we dealing with an accidental overdose?†says LAPD chief William Bratton.
Why? Apparently the King of Pop’s pill habit was even worse than we thought. Five years ago, he was ingesting as many as ten Xanax a night to combat an alleged sleeping disorder, claims a former security guard in a document from 2004 obtained by CNN. What’s more, at that time he was doing “better†since this was down from the 30 to 40 Xanax he previously took — an incredible amount of drugs that shocked even Dr. Sanjay Gupta, who says this is “a huge red flag,†even for an addict who’d built up a tolerance.
Now for the crazy talk! Ranch Records founder Joe is already talent scouting Michael’s kids (who will probably go to Michael’s mom, Katherine, from whom Joe is believed to be separated, thankfully). He tells GMA: “I don’t know — I keep watching Paris. She … wants to do something.†Also: “And as far as I can see, well, they say Blanket, he can really dance.†Yikes!
