One of our favorite speeches last night came courtesy of Dan Harmon, accepting with some other dudes for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for Hugh Jackman’s opening number at the Oscars, mostly because he saved us from having to cringe our way through an unfunny speech from Justin Timberlake — a double nominee in that category and probably the reason the award was televised at all — who’d already bombed with a lame Kanye joke earlier in the broadcast. Harmon admitted his team was “just the dumbest, dumbest, ugliest, least-televiseable people you could give an award to.†Still, congratulations, guys! And, JT, isn’t there an album you could be recording?
