The latest thing that will surely either kill or save Hollywood: Starting Friday, YouTube will offer movie rentals on a trial basis. Five full-length features drawn from this year’s and last year’s Sundance Festivals (including The Cove) will be available on the site for $3.99 a pop for 24 hours, until the end of the month. Watching D2: The Mighty Ducks broken up over thirteen different clips, however, will still be free. [HR]
