In a brazen move, Universal has scheduled MacGruber for a premiere at March’s SXSW Movie Festival a mere day after it was reported that MacGyver creator Lee Zlotoff would attempt to block the release of the satire altogether. This is spoiling to be a good fight, folks: Will Zlotoff manage to channel the spirit of his preternaturally resourceful creation to find a way around fair-use laws, or will MacGruber’s producers let the timer run down on a ticking bomb all over Zlotoff’s case?
