After airing for nine seasons, it looks as though Scrubs has been pronounced dead. Executive producer and former star Zach Braff took to his Facebook page to break the news: “Many of you have asked, so here it is: it appears that ‘New Scrubs’, ‘Scrubs 2.0’, ‘Scrubs with new kids’, ‘Scrubbier’, ‘Scrubs without JD’ is no more. It was worth a try, but alas … it didn’t work,†Braff wrote. ABC has not yet commented, but this Facebook bulletin combined with star Donald Faison getting cast in a new CBS pilot (The Odds) means things aren’t exactly looking promising.
