New M.I.A. Video Too Hot for YouTube

M.I.A.’s video for “Born Free,†in which a soldiers round up and execute redheads, has been yanked from YouTube, apparently over a content violation: “On YouTube the rules prohibit content like pornography or gratuitous violence,†a company spokesperson tells the BBC. “If the content breaks our terms then we remove it and if a user repeatedly breaks the rules we disable their account.†That sounds a little like something a redhead would say. You can still watch “Born Free†on M.I.A.’s official site, though. [Newsbeat/BBC]
