After a Justin Bieber appearance in Sydney yesterday resulted in another squealing fan riot, officials in New Zealand, where Bieber has just arrived, vowed to beef up security ahead of the coming storm. The first signs of trouble came with an ominous tweet from Bieber’s account a few hours ago reading “NEW ZEALAND we are coming!!!,†putting fear in the collective heart of this small island country’s population, which numbers just over 4 million. Bieber has touched down this morning at Auckland International Airport to a chanting, fervent mob, expected only to worsen as he makes his way to C4’s Select Live show and the Strathallan School in Papakura, which won the Bieber appearance through a seemingly harmless radio contest.
