After HBO teased us with a 30-second clip on Friday, a longer, two-minute preview of the upcoming third season of True Blood has been released — and it’s all kinds of great. Though we would have liked to see more of Pam and Lafayette, our favorite characters appear to be back doing what they do best: Sookie’s determined to fight for the people she loves (and playing bait at bars not meant for her), Tara’s getting manipulated by someone nefarious, Jason’s having trouble thinking thoughts (“Santa?â€), and Eric is, well, smoldering. And the arrival of brooding werewolves and the hint of Sookie-Eric bedroom scenes (!) just further indicate we’re in for the satisfying hit of V we’ve been craving.
