Letterman-blackmailing producer Robert “Joe†Halderman was nominated today for a News and Documentary Emmy for his work on CBS’s 48 Hours Mystery. He’s currently about four months into a six-month jail sentence, but should be out in time to attend the September 27 ceremony. It’s too bad he couldn’t have won an Emmy award before his visit to the clink, though. It would have made a pretty badass shiv.
