On last night’s episode of The Simpsons, they invited infamous graffiti artist Banksy to storyboard and direct an extended couch gag. In it, it shows Chinese laborers in over-the-top brutal working conditions animating the show, making Bart Simpson dolls and putting together Simpsons DVDs. It’s pretty brutal! And the fact that they were able to get such a famous and notoriously secretive guy such as Banksy to do this without any word of it leaking out is impressive to say the least.
