Who needs Steve Martin or Billy Crystal when you can have, um, James Franco and Anne Hathaway? That’s the idea behind new rumors about who will be hosting the Oscars. Franco and Hathaway can be funny, to be sure, but something about this just bums me out. Also, isn’t Franco supposedly a frontrunner for a Best Actor nod? Won’t that be awkward? But hey, I’m sure it’ll do really well with key advertiser demographics!!! UPDATE: Confirmed.
