Last week Joe Jackson was denied control of his son’s estate; this week, his wrongful-death lawsuit is getting kicked around. U.S. District Judge John F. Walter said today that Jackson was unlikely to collect any money from the lawsuit before bumping it down to state court, where it will most likely join with MJ’s mom’s lawsuit against AEG Live, the concert promoters behind Michael’s This Is It shows. That second lawsuit contends that AEG failed to provide MJ’s doctor Conrad Murray with lifesaving equipment or properly oversee him. Murray is also on trial for involuntary manslaughter. Got all that? [AP]
