The currently untitled show will revolve around the life of a professional fixer and her hilariously/touchingly dysfunctional group of co-workers/friends. Alec Baldwin linked to Rock of Ages: Add another name to the list of stars connected with the big-screen adaptation of Rock of Ages, as Alec Baldwin has apparently been offered the role of the owner of the club the musical is named after. Baldwin is the third actor to be linked to the part, joining the company of Will Ferrell and Steve Carell. [HR]
Crazy, Stupid, Love Pushed Back to the Summer: Warner Bros. announced that they’ll be moving the release dates of a few upcoming movies. The Steve Carell–starring Crazy, Stupid, Love has been moved from April 22 to July 29, Horrible Bosses from July 29 to a yet-to-be-announced summer date, and Something Borrowed from June 10 to May 6. The Social Network Wins a Best Picture Award: Awards season is just starting up and already The Social Network has a best-picture award under its belt. The movie was named best dramatic film at the International Press Academy’s Satellite Awards. The film managed to bag two more awards, as David Fincher walked away with best director and Aaron Sorkin with best adapted screenplay. [HR]
Google TV Delayed: Expected to be unveiled at next month’s Consumer Electronics Show, Google has asked television manufacturers not to show their versions of the system. Although it won’t give exact reasons for the delay, Google told Toshiba, LG Electronics, and Sharp that it needs more time to refine the product. [HR]
