Having just yesterday gifted us with a taste of Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, the alternate history in which robots and automobiles beat humans to the moon, Michael Bay brings us another present today: an acknowledgment that Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen was not totally amazing. Speaking to Collider, Bay said :
“It’s more serious. I got rid of the dorky comedy [Does he mean racist “comedyâ€?], I mean we’ve got two little characters, that’s it, but the dorkiness is not there. Dork-free Transformers.â€
As for how Dark of the Moon will avoid the Revenge of the Fallen mistakes, Bay promised:
“It’s more serious. I got rid of the dorky comedy [Does he mean racist “comedyâ€?], I mean we’ve got two little characters, that’s it, but the dorkiness is not there. Dork-free Transformers.â€
Because lifelong fans of robots that transform into cars hate everything dorky. Also, dork is never a way anyone — anyone! — would describe Shia LaBeouf.
