Way back in 1999, when The Daily Show was transitioning from the reign of Kilborne to the reign of Stewart, they did a series of test shows to get the new host comfortable. The first guest on the first test show? Paul Rudd. And during last night’s appearance by Rudd on The Daily Show, they pulled out an old clip from that show, and it really is something. Stewart looks straight-up ridiculous, and Rudd still looks good, just with a more dated haircut and a beard.
