Bono and the Edge Enlist Steve Lillywhite to Fix Spider-Man

Though it has Glenn Beck’s ringing endorsement, the powers that be behind the trouble-plagued Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark know that the musical could use a tune-up. Deadline reports that now that Bono and the Edge have actually sat through the show, they’ve pulled in music-industry superproducer Steve Lillywhite to help work with the actors on the musical numbers the duo wrote. This is a good time for tinkering, guys: We’re all still a little distracted by today’s picture of a lithe Andrew Garfield in the big-screen Spidey suit, looking for all the world like a Brooklyn hipster toting a yoga mat in his backpack.
