The Green Hornet 3D took first place at the box office this weekend, raking in an estimated $34 million, and an estimated $40.5 million including Monday’s holiday. The Dilemma took second place, with an estimated $20.6 million for the four-day weekend, a soft opening for Ron Howard. True Grit is still going strong in third place, with a holiday weekend intake of $12.5 million, and a cumulative $127.7 million intake so far. Next up, The King’s Speech earned an estimated $10.7 million for the long weekend, bringing its total earnings to $46.3 million so far. And finally, in more and more theaters, Black Swan made the top five, with an estimated intake of $9.9 million for a $74 million total earning since its debut. Overall, the four-day holiday box office will be down 25 percent from last year’s.
