Lance Reddick — better known as The Wire’s Cedric Daniels or Fringe’s Phillip Broyles — has recently released an album called Contemplations and Remembrances. As you might expect, the 41-year-old TV veteran does not dabble in chillwave: Contemplations mostly features jazz piano, and it turns out Reddick studied music before ever turning to acting. He tells the AP: “I went to conservatory. When I grew up I thought I was going to be a classical composer, and then I left music school because I was in denial because I wanted to be a rock star.
