In a pre-trial hearing Tuesday, an L.A. prosecutor told the court that Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Conrad Murray, took twenty minutes to call paramedics after finding the pop singer unconscious and not breathing in his bed. Assistant D.A. David Walgren said Murray spent that time “having [a staff member] assist him in collecting medical evidence and various paraphernalia.†Murray faces a charge of involuntary manslaughter for providing the iconic entertainer with a powerful sedative to help him sleep.
