The forthcoming Broadway production of Larry Kramer’s 1985 play The Normal Heart just brought on board two of your favorite nerdy-cute TV stars. The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons and Pushing Daisies star Lee Pace have joined the production, it was announced today; they’ll both be playing gay AIDS activists opposite Joe Mantello, who has the lead role of Ned Weeks. You may remember that Ryan Murphy had intended to start shooting a big-screen adaptation of Normal Heart this spring, but with star Mark Ruffalo busy on The Avengers and Murphy very much in demand during his hiatus from Glee, that version is still up in the air.
