I’m not positive the massive spike in the the #TrumpRoast record is the Situation choking like a hound dog on a chicken bone, but seems about right to me. It looks like the inclusion of the #TrumpRoast hash tag on the screen and in basically every promo worked for Comedy Central; with an average 6.5 tweets/minute, the number of tweets containing #TrumpRoast was around 35,000, and that’s not even including my #MarleeMatlinIsMyGod Twitter bonanza. Useful for Comedy Central to chart its viewership, useful to viewers commiserate over how truly excellent Snoop Dogg was.
