This makes sense: Steve Carell’s finale episode of The Office is being supersized. NBC just announced that the April 28 farewell will run 50 minutes, allowing time for at least three more “That’s what she said … †jokes (and, hopefully, lots of emotional Michael and Holly moments). As an added bonus, the Peacock has also found a way to bulk up that evening’s episode of Parks and Recreation, which will now run from 9:50 to 10:30 p.m. Producers finished production on this episode months ago, but the Parks crew often has extra footage that needs to be cut, so perhaps it wasn’t too hard to pack in some more Pawnee. 30 Rock will shift to 10:30 p.m. for the night, meaning — and this may be the best news of all — no Outsourced!
