Roberto Benigni’s film career has been dormant for six years, but if Woody Allen has his way, the seat-climbing, face-pulling actor-director will soon return to cinema. Deadline reports that Allen has enticed Benigni to join the cast of his next movie, The Wrong Picture, which will shoot in Benigini’s native country of Italy. (It would also make him the first Italian actor added to the film, which already stars Jesse Eisenberg, Ellen Page, and Alec Baldwin.) Expect lots of hugging. [Deadline]
