Whatever else happens with the new, possibly not improved Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark — after all the hirings and firings, the script rewrites and grueling rehearsals, the near-deaths and hurtful jokes — there’s this: The show’s young stars, Reeve Carney and Jennifer Damiano, are dating in real life. The New York Times had previously suggested this might be the case, and now the Post has gone and blown up the romance. Says a source: “At first it seemed like she really didn’t like him. But it turned out that maybe it was just her way of flirting. Now it is so cute, they are inseparable.†Now they just have to get married and have multiple children, and Spider-Man’s travails would have all been worth it. [Page Six/NYP]
