Errol Morris is known more as a documentary filmmaker than a narrative filmmaker, but he’s currently prepping his second fictional film. Called You’re Cold As Ice, it will “follow the story of Robert Nelson, a TV repairman who developed his own cryogenic preservation technology in the mid-’60s.†And now Paul Rudd has signed on to play Nelson. The movie is based on this This American Life segment, and Morris is collaborating with Ira Glass on it. Sounds interesting!
