Does HBO even know how long it took you to learn all those new names in A Dance With Dragons, the next book in A Song of Ice and Fire? If so, they certainly don’t care: Game of Thrones has cast Gemma Whelan (previously seen in Gulliver’s Travels and The Wolfman) as Asha Greyjoy, sister of lovable rascal Theon — except they’re changing her name to Yara. The character’s being rechristened in order to prevent confusion with Osha, whose name HBO viewers already know, even if they call her “Ally Sheedy†sometimes. [MTV, EW]
