Guys, I could barely get through this Fallon bit with Elmo and Andy Samberg. Elmo is so weird and bossy, and there’s so much underlying hostility crackling between him and Andy Samberg. And one of them isn’t even real! One of them is a glove! I guess the takeaway is, you can’t pick your family. God bless Jimmy Fallon, though, for holding and snuggling Elmo like he’s a real little guy, rather than some man’s faux-fur-covered hand, a man currently promoting the latest Elmo toy and his documentary about being Elmo.
