The Smoking Gun looks into the case again against Game manager James “Jimmy Henchman†Rosemond and discovers the (maybe) tangential involvement of Interscope, which represents the Game, Lady Gaga, and Eminem, among many others. (Rosemond was indicted in June on felony drug-trafficking charges.) According to documents from the investigation, the label’s L.A. headquarters were used to ship and receive massive amounts of cocaine; the drugs were mailed to New York City in large music cases, which were then emptied, filled with cash, and shipped back to L.A. It’s still unclear how the drug ring gained access to Interscope’s offices, though a road manager for the Game has also been implicated. Some intern in the Interscope mail room is having a really rough Friday. [Spin]
