Focus Features announced today that Keira Knightley will reteam with her Atonement and Pride & Prejudice director Joe Wright for a Tom Stoppard–scripted adaptation of the classic novel Anna Karenina. Jude Law and Aaron Johnson will also star as Aleksei Karenin and Count Vronsky, respectively, while the supporting cast is filled out by vets including Kelly Macdonald, Emily Watson, and Olivia Williams. The movie will start shooting in the U.K. and Russia for a late-2012 premiere; the big question, though, is whether Knightley will reprise her super full-throttle Russian accent from the upcoming A Dangerous Method, or whether they’ll just Brit-ify the whole shebang. Stay tuned!
