Super-candid Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter could always be counted on to drop expletive-laden truth bombs on Twitter, but when he used the social-networking service last month to blame Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner for AMC’s budget woes (and the ousting of The Walking Dead’s Frank Darabont), he decided to quit Twitter cold-turkey. It didn’t last long, though: In the wake of Anarchy’s sky-high season-premiere ratings this week, Sutter has resurrected his Twitter account, and he hasn’t missed a beat: “[M]y penis grows in proportion with our viewership,†he said today. “[R]ight now, it’s slung over my shoulder.†On his blog, Sutter acknowledged that “jacking back in after my very public unplugging will make me look like a douchebag hypocrite and an attention whore,†but he’s pressing on anyway, even though he “will continue to be misquoted out of context by the hack cunt bloggers.†Then again, he wasted no time in throwing those critics some red meat, since just a few hours ago, he tweeted, “fuck [Mad Men], they have more emmys than viewers … and AMC better throw some weiner $ at a marketing campaign or the half dozen MM viewers they have won’t come back.†Never leave us again, Kurt!
