NBC has announced that next week is going to be a very special one for Today viewers. In a Wednesday statement, the network revealed that sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe, mother Kris Jenner, and stepfather Bruce Jenner will act as co-hosts on the morning show. (Each family member will get their own day.) As Deadline pointed out, the stunt appears to be a not-so-subtle nod to the recent merger between NBC-Universal and Comcast, which owns the clan’s home station, E!: “In the … pre-merger days, probably the only chance for the Kardashian sisters to star on an iconic NBC series was if they were parodied on Saturday Night Live.†Well, times have changed, and the network is looking to make the most out of the synergy: The respective Kardashian appearances are set to take place during Today’s fourth hour, alongside crowd favorite Hoda Kotb.
