Back in 2008, Clint Eastwood said that Gran Torino would probably be his last time in front of the camera. But now it looks as though his semi-retirement will be short-lived. Reportedly, he’s considering the idea of taking on the starring role in Trouble With the Curve, a movie about an aging baseball scout’s road trip with his adult daughter. The project marks the directorial debut of Eastwood’s longtime producing partner, Robert Lorenz, which seems like reason enough to give it a go: After all, everybody has to find some way to fill the time between now and the arrival of the Babyoncé.
