As the actress’s ex-talent manager, Kieran Maguire, put it in a lawsuit filed on Wednesday, Melissa Joan Hart “has no heart†for unexpectedly firing him and then neglecting to pay his commissions. In addition to being totally hilarious, Maguire is a little mean: The complaint further states that this all happened “once her popularity was brought back from obscurity.†To be more specific, Kieran alleges that Hart agreed to pay him 10 percent of her earnings from work she obtained while he guided her post–Sabrina the Teenage Witch career, including stints on Dancing With the Stars, a bunch of commercials, and her new ABC Family series, Melissa & Joey. Hart let him go after the first season of the show, which has since been renewed, and Kieran claims he’s entitled to a portion of her salary. Apparently, she’s refusing to pay, but we’re sure she can “explain it all†in court. [THR]
