The Annoying Orange is poised to make the leap from excruciating web series to excruciating television series, thanks to Cartoon Network. The anthropomorphized citrus fruit, complete with creepy human features, has raked in millions upon millions of views on YouTube — this one alone has over 26 million views — so it’s not so hard to believe that someone would come along and tap into the series’ built-in fan base.
