In addition to its three script orders earlier today, Comedy Central has started developing a half-hour scripted/improv mockumentary from Reno 911!’s Kerri Kenney-Silver and UCBer Jamie Denbo. The show is set at “a low-rent legal brothel in Winnemucca, Nevada called Dame Delilah’s Rabbit Hole Ranch,†and Kenney-Silver will play Dame Delilah. Man I hope this becomes a real show.
ABC has green-lit a pilot by Crazy, Stupid, Love screenwriter Dan Fogelman about “a family that moves into a highly desirable gated community in New Jersey only to discover the entire neighborhood is made up of aliens disguised as humans.†Seems like “weird neighbors†is a trend this year, what with the Munsters and The New Neighbors. Weird Neighbors are the new Unprepared Dads!
