With Kristen Wiig less than high on the idea of a Bridesmaids 2, Universal indicated last week that the studio might like to move forward with a sequel focused on the movie’s star Melissa McCarthy. One problem, though. “God, I wouldn’t want to,†McCarthy told E! on Saturday. “I would never want to. I think it’s a terrible idea.†She went on to clarify, “I don’t know anything about it.
