What’s new in Carter Family land? Well, there’s the baby, and the baby’s Tumblr, and then a bunch of new mysterious musical projects that neither Beyoncé or Jay-Z have announced. Their friends are sharing, though! Questlove and Pharrell have both admitted that they are working on a “crazy†“secret project†with Jay (though it seems like maybe the Questlove interview is old, and he’s referencing the Carnegie Hall gig?). Bey, meanwhile, is planning two albums, if you trust OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder (who co-wrote “Haloâ€). He has been sending her “songs about parenthood,†which can only mean that a Beyoncé/B.I.C. “Mommy and Me†album is in our future. It goes without saying that Vulture approves.
