Close followers of Courtney Love’s legal dramas will know that she’s currently embroiled in her second Twitter-related lawsuit; the first was settled last year, at a cost of $430,000 to the very frank musician. Her second case is not going so well, either — despite her lawyer’s argument that the phrase “They got to her†does not necessarily refer to an earlier tweet reading, “I was fucking devestated when Rhonda J Holmes esq of San Diego was bought off,†a Los Angeles judge has ruled that the post “maybe reasonably interpreted by the average reader as a statement of fact.†According to the Hollywood Reporter, this means that the lawsuit will likely be tried before a jury. So, if you live in the L.A. area and are up for jury duty soon, you might be in for one hell of a show. Good luck!
