But no, for everyone playing at home, it does not count toward her effort to top Michael Jackson’s record for most Billboard Hot 100 No. 1’s from a single album. Katy Perry remains tied with MJ at five (off Teenage Dream); her seventh career hit is “Part of Me,†the breakup jam from the Dream rerelease.  Somewhere, in a fancy office decorated with boxes, a poor record exec is blasting “One That Got Away†and weeping over his or her decision to include that song, rather than “Part of Me,†on the original album. (For Vulture’s money, they’re still both better than “E.T.†Alien sex — still weird!)
