Talks are on for Rudd to play the male lead opposite Fey in the Focus Features comedic drama about an unmarried college admissions counselor (Fey) who becomes involved with a guy she knew way back when (Rudd). Paul Weitz (American Pie, About a Boy) will direct the Karen Croner script, which would be shot when 30 Rock wraps in late spring. Admission will be Fey’s first film since she starred alongside Steve Carell in Date Night two years ago. Is there room for two self-deprecating comedic types in the same movie?
