Is Channing Tatum the new Keanu Reeves? The Matrix directors Andy and Lana Wachowski have this year’s most prolific actor in their crosshairs for their new sci-fi movie Jupiter Rising, reports Deadline, and they’ve offered Mila Kunis the female lead as well. We’ll see whether the genre-hopping Tatum accepts the starring role in this super-secret project, but according to IMDb, this would be his first real sci-fi film … well, unless you count Tatum’s uncredited role of “Boy in Church Scene†in War of the Worlds. (He was neither shirtless nor dancing in it, so we don’t.)
