Alfonso Cuarón’s Children of Men had this one breathtaking one-take that seemed to last forever, or at least seven minutes. His next film, Gravity, has been said for two years to feature an uninterrupted twenty-minute opening. So why the hell is this thing stalled yet again, from November to sometime in 2013? Why did no one want to act in this [till Sandra Bullock! Yay!) and why isn’t everyone doing everything in their power to have it released tomorrow?
