Deadline reports that omnipresent hunk-of-all-trades Channing Tatum is in talks to star in White House Down, from disaster movie auteur Roland Emmerich. The film is about attempts to foil a terrorist takeover of the White House … and frankly, Tatum and Emmerich haven’t done such a good job defending the place, according to our cinematic memory. Will this film also end with the White House blown to smithereens or covered in tacky Cobra banners?
