Justin Bieber’s video for “Boyfriend†dropped last night, and it bears more than a little bit of resemblance to ’N Sync’s music video for “Girlfriend,†featuring warm hues, parked cars, spin-outs, and lady-dancing. What happened to the icy, blue-tinged video that Bieber had been teasing in small snippets over the past few weeks? Somewhere along the way, Team Biebz canned the original director, and his version exists only in a briefly glimpsed intro here. Well, when you’re trying to emulate Justin Timberlake, we suppose you’ve really got to commit to it.
