John Carter, meet Jack Reacher? Paramount announced today that the Tom Cruise action movie One Shot will be retitled Jack Reacher to better tout the hero at the center of the Lee Child book franchise it’s adapted from. Devoid of context, does this sell the movie better than the nebulous One Shot, which could have been either a Jason Statham flick or an Anne Hathaway romance?
