With the season finales of all of our most favorite shows in the can, we thought this week would be the best time to look back at the 2011-2012 TV season that was. We’ll be posting a whole mess of essays on all things comedic television. There will be posts about the best episode, best new shows, sitcoms’ growing use of inside jokes, what the traditional fall and spring season still means, and more. Friday will be all about the hotly contested title of Best Comedy of the Season, as we’ll being making the cases for many shows. Later today, we’ll open a poll for you guys to have the final say on which was the best. History shows Community will probably win but every vote counts. We hope to paint a picture of this TV season because it was great. TV in general is great and the next best thing after watching it is talking about it. So consider this week like a giant water cooler filled with cool TV water.
